What is iRentfy?

iRentfy is a modern lease management system that helps landlords and property managers track leases, collect rent, manage maintenance tickets, and provide multi-language tenant portals — all from one dashboard.

Who is iRentfy for?

iRentfy is built for residential landlords, commercial property owners, vacation rental hosts, self-storage operators, and anyone who manages leasable assets — from apartments to billboards.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan supports 1 property, 1 unit, and 1 tenant with no credit card required. It is a great way to test the platform before upgrading as your portfolio grows.

Can I manage properties in multiple countries?

Absolutely. iRentfy supports multi-currency tracking and multi-language tenant portals (12+ languages), making it ideal for international property portfolios.

What types of assets can I manage?

Any leasable asset — apartments, villas, office spaces, retail storefronts, warehouses, self-storage units, parking spaces, land leases, marinas, event venues, and billboards.

Payments & Billing

How does Manual Payment Collection work?

With Manual Payment Collection, tenants pay via bank transfer, cash, or check directly to you. They report the payment in their portal, and you verify it with one click. There are zero platform fees for this method.

What is Online Payment Collection?

Online Payment Collection allows tenants to pay via credit card or debit card through an integrated payment processor. Only the payment processor's standard fees apply — iRentfy never adds a markup.

What is Auto Pay and how does it work?

Auto Pay is our hands-free rent collection system. Tenants can save their preferred payment method (Credit/Debit Cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or low-cost Direct Bank Debit) and authorize the system to automatically debit rent on the due date. The landlord receives exactly 100% of the rent, and the system handles the entire transaction off-session, sending automatic receipts upon success.

What online and offline payment options are supported?

iRentfy supports a comprehensive selection of payment channels. Online channels include Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), Google Pay, Apple Pay, and secure, low-cost Direct Bank Transfers (ACH in the US, SEPA in Europe, BACS in the UK). Offline manual options such as direct IBAN bank transfers, cash, or checks are also fully supported with $0 platform fees.

Does iRentfy charge transaction fees?

No. iRentfy charges zero platform fees on Manual Payment Collection. For Online Payment Collection, only the payment processor's standard fees apply. iRentfy never takes a cut or adds a markup.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Your plan benefits continue until the end of your billing period.

What happens when I exceed my plan limits?

When you reach your plan limit for properties, units, tenants, leases, contractors, or storage, you will be prompted to upgrade to a higher tier. You cannot add new items beyond your plan limit until you upgrade.

Features & Usage

How do tenants access their portal?

Tenants log in with a simple access code — no password or app download required. They can view their lease details, payment history, submit maintenance requests with photos, and download receipts.

How many languages does iRentfy support?

iRentfy supports 12+ languages including English, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Hindi, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, and Chinese.

Can I track maintenance requests?

Yes. Tenants submit maintenance tickets with photos through their portal. You can triage, assign to vendors, track resolution status, and set automated follow-up reminders for unresolved tickets.

Does iRentfy send automated notifications?

Yes. You can configure automated email and in-app notifications for rent reminders, invoices, overdue payments, lease expirations, maintenance alerts, and monthly occupancy reports.

Can I store lease documents?

Yes. iRentfy includes a secure digital vault for storing lease agreements, addendums, and supporting documents. Each plan includes a specific amount of document storage.

Security & Privacy

Is my data secure?

Yes. iRentfy uses Firebase for authentication and Firestore for data storage with strict owner/tenant isolation rules. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Who can see my financial information?

Only you and your tenants. iRentfy utilizes a privacy-first isolation model where manual payment bank details are stored securely. For online payments, iRentfy integrates securely with Stripe, the industry standard in payment security, meaning sensitive card and bank data is fully tokenized off-session and never exposed to our servers.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data remains accessible even after cancellation. You can export your data at any time. Archived items are preserved and can be restored or permanently deleted by you.
